经省政府领导同意,由我委主办的首届全省民族乡乡长培训班于9月9日在武昌开学,9月23日在广州总结结束,学习、考察活动历时半月。参加培训班的有除神农架林区下谷坪土家族乡以外的全部9个民族乡乡长和民族乡所在的市、县民族工作部门的负责人共21人。培训班的具体组织工作由我委政法宣传处负责,原省民委主任袁仲由同志首先就党的民族理论、民族政策和结合我省实际开展民族工作等给培训班作了专题讲座。培训班还传达贯彻了全国部分省、自治区民族乡工作座谈会的精神,各乡之间进行了经验交流,研究了民族乡工作今后的努力方向。在此基础上,由省民委副主任牟廉玖同志带队,组成民族乡工作考察团,于9月12日前往福建、广东两省学习考
With the consent of the provincial government, the first provincial-level township mayor training course sponsored by the CPC Committee started in Wuchang on September 9, ended in Guangzhou on September 23, and took a half-month of study and study.
