唐朝是诗歌的国度。作为一代之文学,唐诗在表现内容及表现技巧上都达到了前人无法企及的高度。音乐是诉诸听觉的艺术。马克思认为:对于非音乐的耳朵,最美的音乐也没有意义。两者属于不同的艺术门类,但唐代诗人却打破藩篱,使之融会贯通。白居易的《琵琶行》,韩愈的《听颖师弹琴》,李贺的《李凭箜篌引》被并称为“摹写声音至文”。他们在表现方法上各有侧重,白居易多正面描写,李贺重侧面描写,而韩愈则两者相结合,为我们传达出了唐代音乐的神韵与美感。
