大中型高炉喷吹煤粉是节约焦炭的有效措施之一.鞍钢炼铁厂8号高炉自1964年进行喷吹煤粉试验以来,工业生产中喷吹的大多数是阳泉无烟煤。为了扩大使用煤种,做了喷吹太西煤的冶炼工业试验.试验过程中分析了煤质改变对高炉炉况及操作的影响,从而得出这样的结论:①煤粉在高炉风口附近的燃烧性能、风口回旋区以外的气化性能都受煤化程度的影响;②高炉初成渣、滴落渣和终渣受煤化程度和成煤机理的影响;③太西煤的煤化程度高于阳泉煤,所以太西煤的燃烧性能不如阳泉煤;④在中温区,太西煤的气化反应性劣于阳泉煤;⑤煤化程度也可间接影响炉渣的物性,未燃煤粉进入初渣或滴落渣使渣稠化,影响高炉运行;⑥成煤机理不同造成的煤灰成分的变化会对造渣产生影响,喷吹煤粉与焦炭的灰分、灰成分差异越大,炉渣成分的改变越大,其改变与喷吹量成正比.
