本刊讯(记者朱江平)1月19日,中华全国供销合作总社召开第四届理事会第三次全体会议,全国政协副主席、供销合作总社理事会主任白立忱通报了2006年全国供销社系统的工作业绩。2006年,供销合作社加快改革发展步伐,积极参与新农村建设,各项工作取得显著成效,全年实现销售总额7489亿元,比上年增长22.2%;实现利润79.5亿元,创历史新高。同时,供销社系统在领引农村合作经济、农村日用消费品零售、农副产品流通、农资服务等方面都取得新进展。对此,中共中央政治局委员、国务院副总理回良玉专门批示,希望供销合作社“努力成为农民经济合作的带动力量、农村现代流通的主导力量、农业社会化服务的骨干力量。”

At the same time, the system of supply and marketing cooperatives made new progress in leading the rural cooperative economy, retail sales of rural consumer goods, distribution of agricultural and sideline products and agricultural services. In response, Hui Liangyu, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and vice premier of the State Council, specifically instructed that the supply and marketing cooperative will “strive to become the driving force of peasant economic cooperation, the leading force in rural modern circulation, and the backbone of agricultural socialization services.”
