磷酸哌奎是4—氨基奎林类衍化物,对红内期疟原虫无性体有效,对配子体和红外期疟原虫无效。它排泄比较缓慢,作用时间较长,可用为抑制性预防疟疾和治疗现症病人。对耐氯奎株鼠疟和抗氯奎株恶性疟原虫也有较好作用。为了进一步提高防治疟疾的效果,我们将磷酸哌奎和磷酸伯氨奎林制成复方片,在海南岛保亭县罗葵大队进行预防服药和治疗病人观察。该点是以巴拉巴按蚊为主要传疟媒介的高疟区。其目的期望在抑制性预防或控制症状的基础上,对疟原虫有性体也有杀灭作用,防止疟疾传播,保护贫下中农身体健康。
