在燃料有效利用的研究工作中,苏联和美国走的道路不同。苏联致力于建造具有磁流 体发电站各种组成部分的复杂的能源装置。1964年,苏联建造了世界上第一台试验装置 Ou—02,并投入使用。1971年,苏联又制造了世界上第一台功率为20兆瓦的工业试验装置 Ou—25。以后在工业试验装置Ou—25基础上,苏联与美国合作制成新的试验装置Ou—25B,该装置装有美国制造的超导电磁铁。
In the research on the effective use of fuel, the Soviet Union and the United States have taken different paths. The Soviet Union is committed to building complex energy devices with various components of magnetohydroelectric power stations. In 1964, the Soviet Union built the world’s first experimental unit Ou-02 and put it into use. In 1971, the Soviet Union created the world’s first industrial test device, the Ou-25, with a power of 20 MW. Later on the basis of the industrial test device Ou-25, the Soviet Union and the United States cooperated to make a new test device, the Ou-25B, equipped with a U.S.-made superconducting magnet.
