Pulmonary vascular resistance (PVR) is an important parameter for evaluating hemodynamic changes in ventricular septal defect (VSD). There is no definitive way to measure PVR by ultrasound. In this paper, we measured the differential pressure of VSD and pulmonary valve regurgitation in 16 patients with VSD by pulsed Doppler ultrasound (PWDE), and calculated the pulmonary artery systolic pressure (PASP) and pulmonary diastolic pressure (PADP) PAMP).
