广西忻城县大塘镇至思练镇一带,有多个饰面用灰岩矿山,形成了忻城县重要的石材产业基地,该地区饰面用灰岩赋存地层均为石炭系南丹组,岩性为厚层-巨厚层条带状灰岩,矿体厚度较稳定,为浅海相沉积碳酸盐矿床。矿石类型简单,成荒性较好,易加工,板材颜色花纹美观且稳定,装饰性能符合使用范围不受限制的A类产品。
