近几年来,国产故事影片中有一个比较普遍的毛病,就是脱离或违背生活真实,任意杜撰故事情节;尤其在一部分惊险样式的影片中,胡编乱造,故弄玄虚的现象更为严重,引起了广大群众的不满。报纸、刊物上,曾发表过不少文章,对这种不良创作倾向提出批评,其中的大多数文章,是本着与人为善的态度,实事求是地分析了这种倾向的具体表现、造成的主客观原因,充分说理,不扣帽子,对电影工作者认识这种错误倾向的不良社会效果,从中吸取教训,进一步提高国产故事影片的创作质量,是完全必要并很有帮助的。同时,它们也能帮助观众正确地分析、欣赏这类影片,有利于提高广大群众的艺术鉴赏水平。这种马克思主义的科学的、说理的、实事求是的电影评论,值得大力提倡。但是,也有一种情况令人担忧。近几年来,我国放映的外国故事影片数量有所增加,这对广大观众了解外国的电影创作情况,满足群众的文化生活需要,
