由广州市网球协会主办、广州赛点网球训练营协办的“海飞丝-DUNLOP 2007/2008广州业余网球公开赛”将于9月15日至16日在天河体育中心网球学校举行第一站比赛。本次赛事的冠军选手将有机会与WTA选手进行较量。本次比赛为系列积分赛事,计划每两个月举办一站(一个周末两天),全年将举办6站赛事,决出年度排名,年终总决赛定在2008年7月,可谓广州地区迎接08年奥运的一次民间体育盛事,成为“全民参与迎奥运,广州人民盼亚运”的一个亮点。
Sponsored by Guangzhou Tennis Association and organized by Guangzhou Match Tennis Training Camp, “Headline-DUNLOP 2007/2008 Guangzhou Amateur Tennis Open” will be held at the Tianhe Sports Center Tennis School from September 15 to September 16 for the first race . The tournament champions will have the chance to compete against WTA players. The competition is a series of points events, plans to hold a station every two months (one weekend two days), six events throughout the year will be held to determine the annual ranking, the year-end Finals scheduled for July 2008, described as Guangzhou welcome A major folk sports event in the 2008 Olympic Games has become a bright spot in “The People Participate in the Olympics and the Guangzhou People Look forward to the Asian Games.”
