本文结合三种冲压式发动机讨论了采用硼作燃料的优点、实际问题和性能,研究表明,与碳氧燃料相比,采用硼作燃料,理论上有显著的性能增益。但是,由于硼的点火温度高(1900K)和燃烧性能差,因此,要想得到高的燃烧效率,就必须对燃烧室系统采取一些专门措施。含硼量高的固体燃料和推进剂会因燃烧不均匀而引起推车发生变化,同时,由于硼粒子的烧结块在燃烧室内得不到充分的停留时间,也会使燃烧不完全。
In this paper, the advantages, practical problems and performance of boron-based fuel are discussed in combination with three kinds of ramjet engines. The research shows that compared with carbon oxy-fuel, boron is used as fuel, and theoretically there is a significant performance gain. However, due to the high ignition temperature of boron (1900K) and poor combustion performance, special measures must be taken for the combustion chamber system in order to achieve high combustion efficiency. Solid fuel and propellants containing high amounts of boron can cause soot changes due to uneven combustion, and at the same time incomplete combustion can not be achieved due to insufficient residence time of the agglomerates of boron particles in the combustion chamber.
