自从2007年i Phone手机正式问世,触摸屏手机开始在世界流行开来。随着触摸屏手机的普及以及平板电脑的出现,人们发现屏幕越来越大,特别是随着流媒体时代的来临,手机的屏幕尺寸正发生着翻天覆地的变化。据不完全统计,4.5英寸屏幕以上的手机在2012年前后大约有10%,而现在约80%的新机型都配置4.5英寸以上的屏幕。于是,增大显示面积的设计应运而生,有些厂商突破传统限制,开发出了可折叠双屏、可弯曲柔性屏、可旋转双屏等移动终端,这样的设计使得背面也具有显示能力,并且非常容易将显示面积扩大一倍,同时,屏幕的增大使得移动操作体验越来越接近桌面PC。但是随着屏幕尺寸的增加,其耗电量也越来越大,双显示屏也带来了如何确定当前用户使用的显示屏等问题。因此,为了提高用户感受,延长电池的使用寿命,需要采取节能技术以解决显示屏耗电量较大的技术问题。
