PWS(PRIMARY WEAPONS SYSTEMS)公司现已经成为一家知名的M4系卡宾枪生产公司。为扩大市场范围,公司着手研发战术卡宾枪,在2016年推出了MK109战术卡宾枪。该枪在长度、可靠性方面均下足了功夫,力图打造真正的战术卡宾枪。这款PWS MK109战术卡宾枪采用248mm长枪管,全枪长度只有650mm,这个长度适合反恐部队和特警队在狭小空间内使用,非常便于携行。其采用的活塞式导气方式给该枪的可靠性带来足够保证,这点是气吹式导气方式做不到的。
