把生态学理论引入到矿业经济中，解释矿区生态经济系统的生命周期性、生态共生性和动态演化性等特征，深入分析矿区生态经济系统动态演化机制和竞争与合作机制，从而更好地模拟矿区类生命特征及其空间关系，透视矿业发展问题实质，这将有利于建立矿区与相关利益者群体的生态共同体，促进矿区生态经济系统的可持续发展。
