高等职业大学培养应用型工程技术人才,在教学环节中应当注重实践性和应用性。实践性教学环节应占有十分重要的地位。然而,与国外同类学校相比,现在我们的实践性环节还是相当薄弱的。例如,日本的一些职业专科学校,许多课程的实践学时占总学时的50%左右,有些课程甚至实践学时超过理论学时。他们实行所谓协作教育,在后两年中,一学期到工厂实习,一学期理论课,交替进行,工厂实习约有40周。又如,德国的许多职业专科学校有50周工厂实习,而我国的专科学校,以机制专业为例,工厂实习时间不满18周,实验学时仅
