自英国制造出最后一批出口用干线机车以来,将近12年没有收到订货,最近才向斯里兰卡国家铁路交付了16台1000马力、B_0—B_0轴式电力传动内燃机车订货中的第一台,其余的机车将在最近两、三个月内交付。这批机车是由英国布拉希电力工程有限公司的牵引部-Ha-wker Siddeley 子公司制造的。继斯里兰卡之后,土耳其也向布拉希电力工程有限公司订购了6台600马力工业用调车内燃机车。斯里兰卡购置的这批机车将和26年前由布拉希公司提供的26台 AIA-AIA 型机车一起
No orders have been received for nearly 12 years since the last batch of mainline locomotives for export were manufactured in the United Kingdom. The first of a total of 16 1000-horsepower, B_0-B_0 -shaped electric diesel locomotives was delivered to the Sri Lanka National Railway, The remaining locomotives will be delivered within the last two or three months. The locomotives were manufactured by Ha-wker Siddeley, a traction unit of the British Brass Power Engineering Co. Ltd. Following Sri Lanka, Turkey also ordered six 600-horsepower shunting diesels for industrial use from Brahsis Power Engineering Co. Ltd. The locomotives to be purchased in Sri Lanka will be combined with 26 AIA-AIA locomotives supplied by Brahim 26 years ago
