测定了一个从浙江余杭大蒜中分离到的Allexivirus属成员的基因组全序列. 单链正性病毒基因组含8451个核苷酸, 6个ORF. 与其他Allexivirus属成员的基因组全序列的核苷酸同源性仅为62.8%~64.8%; ORF1~ORF6编码蛋白的氨基酸同源性分别为67.6%~78.5%, 55.4%~66.2%, 56.7%~66.4%, 40.3%~55.6%, 66.3%~79.7%和52.2%~68.8%. 进一步分析显示, 此病毒与其他病毒的差异和该属中远缘病毒间的差异相似, 外壳蛋白核心区域氨基酸序列同源性仅为63.9%~79.8%, 远低于该属不同病毒的国际分类标准, 应归类为Allexivirus属的新成员, 命名为大蒜病毒E. 病毒不同编码蛋白序列的进化树分析也进一步证明了该病毒与其他病毒的亲缘关系.

The phylogenetic analysis of different coding protein sequences of viruses further proves that the virus is related to other viruses.
