已知垂体腺瘤、脑膜瘤和恶性乳腺肿瘤等产生生长激素的肿瘤都含有大量高度亲和性生长抑素受体。204-090(tyr-3-octreotide,一种合成的生长抑素衍化物)与生长抑素有共同活性位点。为此,作者以放射碘标记204-090,对几种内分泌相关肿瘤进行了定位研究。11例病人中,2例脑膜瘤、2例胃泌素瘤,1例类癌、1例胰岛瘤、1例肾上腺癌、3例髓样甲状腺癌。每例静注~(123)I-204-090 37~555MBq,尔后用γ照像仪摄影。闪烁扫描显示~(123)I-204-090在肿瘤部位迅速聚集。注射后4小时全身扫描所见的肿瘤,于24和48小时重复扫描仍能检出。2例脑膜瘤、2例胃泌素瘤和1例类癌扫描阳性;1例胃泌素瘤和1例类癌经扫描发现腹外转移病变。胰岛瘤、嗜铬细胞瘤和肾上腺癌各1例,髓样甲状腺3例扫描均阴性。上述结果与静脉用未标记的生长抑素类似
Tumors that produce growth hormone, such as pituitary adenomas, meningiomas, and malignant breast tumors, all contain large amounts of highly-affinitive somatostatin receptors. 204-090 (tyr-3-octreotide, a synthetic somatostatin derivative) has a common active site with somatostatin. For this purpose, the authors studied the localization of several endocrine-related tumors with radioactive iodine markers 204-090. Of the 11 patients, 2 were meningioma, 2 gastrinoma, 1 carcinoid, 1 insulinoma, 1 adrenal, 3 medullary thyroid cancer. Each case was intravenously administered with (123) I-204-090 37-555 MBq, and then photographed with a gamma camera. Scintigraphic scanning showed that ~(123)I-204-090 rapidly accumulated in the tumor site. Whole body scans of the tumors seen 4 hours after injection were still detectable by repeated scans at 24 and 48 hours. Two cases of meningioma, 2 cases of gastrinoma and 1 case of carcinoid scan were positive; 1 case of gastrinoma and 1 case of carcinoid were found by abdominal scan metastasis. There were 1 case of insulinoma, 1 case of pheochromocytoma and adrenal carcinoma, and 3 cases of medullary thyroid scan were negative. The above results are similar to those of intravenous unlabeled somatostatin
