Cambridge University of the United Kingdom has recently designed a “seaweed house”: Incorporating glass tubes containing seaweed into buildings, under photosynthesis, seaweeds produce hydrogen, which provides the building with the necessary energy. The combustion of hydrogen gas will not cause pollution and it is a clean energy source. “Seaweed House” provides new ideas for building energy efficiency, which has aroused widespread concern.
