The Asarum used in traditional Chinese medicine is mainly the Asarum genus Asarum and Hua Xixin. At present, in Shaanxi and Sichuan, Asarum himalaicum Hook f.et Thoms is used as a medicine for Asarum. The study of the constituents of the volatile oil of Capsicum has not been reported. We studied the constituents of volatile oil from Capillaria fragilis using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry in combination with gas phase preparation and infrared spectroscopy.
