人口老化目前巳成为世界重要问题之一。近年来随着社会的进步和医疗卫生条件的改善,人类寿命普遍延长。由于我国城乡医疗卫生网的健全、卫生防疫工作的落实,以及各种福利措施的实行,我国人口死亡率巳从解放初期的千分之二十五下降到现在的千分之七,平均寿命从解放前的35岁上升到现在的67.9岁。随着出生率及死亡率的下降,平均寿命的延长,人口中老年人比重逐步上升。人口老化问题将会越来越突出。 江西省1981年男性平均期望寿命为64.8岁,女性为67.6岁。赣州市据82年统计男性的平均期望寿命为69.4岁,女性为74.0岁,均高于全省平均水平。随着社会的发展和时间的推移,我市老年人口的比例将会逐年增加,不少有关老年人的问题很自然将会提出来。为此本文根据赣州市1982年第三次
