The authors prepared two types of amantadine ion-selective membrane electrodes. One is the use of dinitramine (Dipicrylamine, DC) as a counterion in the membrane electroactive material; dinonylnaphthalene sulphonic acid (Dinonylnaphthalene sulphonic acid, DS) on the other electrode. Both of these electrodes were successfully used for the titration of amantadine hydrochloride (A) in tablets with potentiometric titration with sodium tetraphenylborate.
