我厂过去在铸铁机体上攻M10~30的螺丝孔,是完全由装配钳工用手工操作来完成的。这样所攻出来的螺丝孔,不能保证垂直,嚴重的影响质量;另一方面,工作效率低,劳动强度大。后来我们制造了一个M10~30机器攻丝保险夹头(图1),利用它在悬臂鑽上攻螺丝孔,工作效率提高10~17倍,特别保证了螺孔的垂直,大大地减轻了劳动强度。用这种保险夹头攻不通孔时,可以保证丝攻不致因攻到了头而折断。
