由于汉英两种语言和中西方文化间存在的巨大差异,在进行旅游翻译的时候,视情况对原文进行改写是达到跨文化交际的有效途径。关联理论对以信息和诱导性为最高目的的旅游翻译有很强的解释力,尤其能解释旅游翻译中改写的合理性。本文探讨了旅游文本汉英翻译在关联理论视角下的改写策略,并结合实例分析了改写策略在旅游文本汉英翻译实践中的应用。
Due to the huge differences between the two languages of Chinese and English and the differences between Chinese and Western cultures, it is an effective way to achieve cross-cultural communication when translating the original texts as the case may be when translating tourism. Relevance theory has a strong explanatory power for tourism translation with the highest purpose of information and inducement, especially the rationality of rewriting in tourism translation. This article explores the rewriting strategy of Chinese-English translation of tourist texts under the perspective of relevance theory and analyzes the application of rewrite strategies in the translation of Chinese-English tourism texts with examples.
