In this paper, the electron probe was used to study the distribution of Mg and Zr in GH99 alloy and its effect on the properties of the alloy. Experiments show that Mg and Zr segregate to the grain boundary and Me phase boundary and are dissolved in Mc. The Mg content in the grain boundary increases with the increase of Mg content in the alloy. The addition of Mg makes the first carbide obviously obtuse The first carbides decrease at the grain boundaries; Zr has no effect on the mechanical properties of the alloy, and the optimal range of the Mg after refining can be 0.0036% to 0.008% (the residual amount in the steel)
