荷兰达夫汽车厂经过20多年的研究,制成了DKS—“E”型省油发动机。这种发动机的特点是:去掉比油耗较高的高转速部分,装用废气涡轮增压器和增压空气冷却器,并采用共振进气法改善了发动机的功率特性。发动机的最高转速低,但这时所发出的最大功率却与“最高转速”较高时基本相同,扭矩曲线变陡。这样,发动机就可以在比油耗较低的工作转速下运转,因而可使发动机节省燃油。 After more than 20 years of research, the Dutch Duff Automobile Works made the DKS- “E” fuel economy engine. The features of this engine are: to remove the higher speed part than the fuel consumption, equipped with exhaust turbochargers and charge air cooler, and the use of resonant air intake method to improve the engine’s power characteristics. The maximum engine speed is low, but the maximum power delivered at this time is essentially the same as when the “highest speed” is high, and the torque curve becomes steep. In this way, the engine can operate at a lower operating speed than fuel consumption, thus saving the engine fuel.
