音乐教材是体现音乐课程性质的重要依据;是学生学习及教师教学的重要资源;是专家学者们按照一定编写原则,精心努力编出的供学生学习的重要材料。正是因为这样,教师在备课或是上课时容易完全依赖教材,思维被教材所禁锢,每节课的程序都按部就班,毫无创新意识,而学生只能被动的接受,创新精神与自主探究能力得不到良好的培养。久而久之,学生会产生倦怠心理,不利于其全面发展。因此教师必须转变观念,以音乐教材为载体,灵活多变地组织教学,创造性地使用音乐教材,提高课堂的有效性。
