显微硬度计的力值正确与否,将直接影响仪器的示值精度。由于显微硬度计是采用小负荷(1kgf以下)试验,又受到仪器空间容量的限制,因此在很长时间内显微硬度计的力值测定未能得到较好的解决,从而影响显微硬度试验的可靠性和正确性,也影响显微硬度计的制造质量。显微硬度计的检定规程中明确规定:硬度计的负荷误差,对等于和小于100gf的负荷,允许在±1.5%以内,大于100gf的负荷误差应小于±1.0%,其变动度分别不大干1.5%和1.0%。目前,国内还没有小量程测力计,所以测定显微硬度计的负荷时,必须对现有仪器进行改装或自行设计。以往所用的显微硬度计的测力装置主要有以下三种: 1.光学测力计 2.改装机械天平 3.电阻应变式传感器测力装置
