2013年11月2~3日,由中国图书馆学会目录学专业委员会和武汉大学信息管理学院组织召开的第六届全国目录学学术研讨会暨彭斐章教授执教60周年庆祝会在武汉大学举行。2日下午,来自全国各地的参会代表和学院全体教师与学生代表齐聚在武汉大学信息管理学院新大楼的学术报告大厅内,同庆彭先生执教60周年。武汉大学党委书记韩进,党委副书记黄泰岩,党委副书记兼纪委书记蒋昌忠,北京大学信息管理系教授王锦贵,华南师范大学信息管理系教授乔好勤,武汉大学党委组织部、校办、党办等机关职能部门负责人,武汉大学人文社科资深教授马费成,武汉大学本科生院院长、长江学者特聘教授陈传夫,信息管理学院院长方卿等百余人出席了会议。韩进书记用“恭贺、感谢、期望”六个字代表学校肯定了彭先生在教学、科研、学科建设方面取得的成就,向彭先生执教60年表示祝贺,感谢他对学院事业、对学校发展做出的贡献。希望信息管理学院进一步开拓创造,务实创业,引领创新,培养和造就更多像彭先生一样的优秀人才,努力把学院建设成为国际一流的综合性研究型学院,为学校的发展做出新的更大的贡献。会议由武汉大学信息管理学院党委书记董有明主持。
