传统社会的基层区划之演变及其分化,乃是特定的地理环境与社会政策相结合的产物。宁国府基层区划的演变,与各县的地理环境与人文传统差异息息相关。太平县的虚图,是皖南商业社会的特殊产物;宣城县、南陵县的团制,是发轫于平原圩区的基层设置;寄庄作为区域经济交流的一个侧面,折射出南部山区商业资本流向北部圩区的社会现象。探析基层区划的演变及其治理,有助于理解宁国府社会变迁的本质,并可为皖南区域的社会比较提供参照。
