随着信息化社会的到来,文献资料迅猛增长。为了适应新的形势,文献资料工作必须进行改革和创新,更新观念和拓宽视野,文献资料工作要情报化,由过去的搜集管理为主向开放利用过渡,提高文献资料的利用率,为读者提供更多更有效的教学与科研资料。那么怎样才能更充分发挥资料室文献资料的作用呢?笔者结合自己的实践谈些想法和做法。一、提高文献资料收藏质量,是充分发挥文献资料作用的物质基础资料室要向读者提供有价值的文献资料,就必须要有丰富的文献资料作保证,合理的收藏结构和提高文献资料收藏的质量,是充分发挥文献资料作用的物质基础。我院的资料室是1979年建立的,现藏书量为,中外图书2400余册,资料3700余册,期刊1900余册,共计8000余册。专业文献资料较全,是一个能为
