重庆医科大学附属第一医院骨科是重庆市教委重点学科之一,其脊柱外科水平在全国享有盛名。1956年,全国著名骨科专家吴祖尧教授率先在我院开展了国内首例经颈前路椎间盘摘除术,开创了脊柱外科手术的新领域。通过几代人的努力,我院脊柱外科水平不断发展提高,在诊治脊柱疾患方面积累了丰富的临床经验。90年代中后期,我院又派人到国内外多家医院进修脊柱外科,先后同美国、英国、德国、加拿大、法国、韩国、新加坡、香港、台湾等国际、国内脊柱外科同行进行广泛的学术交流,使我院的脊柱外科水平又上了一个新的台阶,并于2003年成立重庆市脊柱外科中心。
The Department of Orthopaedics of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University is one of the key disciplines of the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission. Its spine surgery level enjoys a good reputation throughout the country. In 1956, Prof. Wu Zuyi, a famous orthopedic expert in the country, took the lead in our hospital to carry out the first cervical anterior discectomy in China and created a new field of spinal surgery. Through the efforts of several generations of people, the level of spinal surgery in our hospital has been continuously improved and has accumulated rich clinical experience in diagnosis and treatment of spinal disorders. In the mid to late 1990s, our hospital sent people to many hospitals at home and abroad to study spinal surgery. It has conducted extensive academic research with the United States, Britain, Germany, Canada, France, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other international and domestic spinal surgeons. Exchanges have made our hospital’s spine surgery a new level. In 2003, we established the Chongqing Spine Surgery Center.
