In addition to simple introduction and copyright transfer, the approaches to abroad output of China's publications are becoming more and more diversified, from the project cooperation into the establishment of joint venture.
China Publishing Group Corporation is negotiating with MD Group, a famous German tourist publishing group, to cooperate and establish a joint venture. Commercial Press also visited DE GRUYTER, a famous academic press from Germany, and conducted in-depth cooperation. Gu Qing, the deputy editor-in-chief of Zhonghua Book Company, claimed that the press is working together with PHAIDON, a leading British art book publishing house, to plan an international publishing project, operating an art book and selling it in multilingual languages worldwide. Books jointly compiled and published will appear in market,in friendly cooperation between Phoenix Publishing & Media Yilin Press and LCC Greene Media, a company from the United Kingdom. Liu Qiang, the general manager of Shandong Publishing and Media Co., Ltd., said that the models of successful cooperation had been jointly planned and selected by Shandong Friendship Publishing House. Qilu Press and British Publishing Group were available to collectively develop the market. Cloudary built cooperative relationship with foreign e-Book distribution channels. Yu Xiaojie, the general manager of Publishing Company of Chemical Industry Press, said that project cooperation and organizational collaboration had been their expectations.
