His father’s name is William Frost. William was a youth student at Harvard University and in 1872 graduated as an honorary graduate. After graduation, he would not go back to New England in the east to become a cotton worker after he inherited his father’s profession. Instead, he stayed in the west and became a reporter. He later became a teacher at Bucknell Academy where he met Robert’s mother and later married her. Robert’s mother, Isabelle Moodic, was born in Scotland and is the daughter of a captain. She loves romantic poetry very much and often teaches her children to read poetry. Robert was influenced by his childhood, and his childhood experience played a good role in his later literary achievements.
