用益元养心冲剂治疗老年冠心病５０例，心绞痛缓解总有效率达７６％，ＥＣＧ改善有效率达３４％，且具有降低ＴＧ、ＣＨ和升高ＨＤＬ－Ｃ的作用，能促使冠心病患者血中睾酮含量趋向正常；对中医证型气虚、阴虚和气滞血瘀程度有明显改善；远期随防观察，小剂量服用可以维持原有疗效。动物实验表明，该冲剂可延长小鼠常压耐缺氧、并用ＩＳＯ常压耐缺氧条件下的生存时间，对大鼠的心肌缺血有显著的保护作用，可使离体兔心的冠脉流量明显增加，并有雄激素样作用，在药物最大浓度５０％时测定小鼠最大耐受量（相当于临床用药量１２０倍），未出现急性毒性反应
Treating 50 elderly patients with coronary heart disease with Yiyuanyangxin granules, the total effective rate of angina pectoris relief was 76%, ECG improved the effective rate by 34%, and it had the effect of lowering TG, CH, and increasing HDL-C, which could promote the blood of patients with coronary heart disease. The content of testosterone tends to be normal; there is a significant improvement in the degree of qi deficiency, yin deficiency and qi stagnation and blood stasis in the syndromes of traditional Chinese medicine; in the long-term observation, small doses can maintain the original curative effect. Animal experiments show that the granules can prolong the mice’s tolerance to hypoxia under normal pressure and use the ISO atmospheric pressure to survive under hypoxic conditions, and have a significant protective effect on myocardial ischemia in rats, which can make isolated rabbit heart crowns. The pulse flow rate increases significantly, and there is an androgen-like effect. The maximum tolerated dose (equivalent to 120 times the clinical dosage) is determined at the maximum drug concentration of 50%, and no acute toxicity is observed.
