社会主义时代呼唤社会主义荣辱观。树立社会主义荣辱观,是构建和谐社会一个带有根本性的问题,体现在科学发展观的指导下,将依法治国与以德治国有机结合起来,将经济建设、政治建设、文化建设、社会建设融为一体的我国社会主义现代化建设总体布局。“八荣八耻”荣辱观,对于明确当前社会思想领域内是非、善恶、美丑的界限,促进良好社会风气的形成具有重要的现实意义。因此,在新的历史时期,把遵守社会主义荣辱观的道德要求逐步转化为广大社会公民的道德行为,必须加强社会主义荣辱观践行机制的建设。
