现在世界经济逐渐趋于一体化,知识经济的端倪已初现。知识经济的一个重要特点就是知识更新的速度加快,新知识是发展经济获得效益的最关键要素。要跟上知识经济发展的步伐,任何一个企业都必须把学习新知识、创造新知识作为发展经济的关键。而要学习新知识,创造新知识就必须是企业的组织行为,所以,建设学习型企业是时代的要求,是企业生存和发展的必然。学习型企业必须要求员工是学习型员工,学习型员工必须把学习作为工作的必需,在工作中学习,在学习中工作,不断提高本身素质。要建立学习型企业,培养学习型员工,应该做到:
