我国新时期教育的改革和发展,对教师队伍建设提出了新的、更高的要求。当前,我国中小学校正全面实施素质教育,以面向现代化、面向世界、面向未来为战略思想,帮助学生学会学习、学会生活、学会做人,面向全体学生,全面提高教育质量,其根本保障在于教师的素质。为此,作为最基层的教育部门——学校,不但要重视培养教师的个体素质,而且要加强教师团队建设。一、教师团队建设的重要性教师自身素质的高低,关系到学生的身心素质向预期目标的转化;教师群体关系的好坏,不仅影响着教师之间的交往效果和心理满意度,而且影响着学校集体的巩固和组织效能的发挥。良好的教师群体关系是教师理想工作环境的重要条件,不仅有助于教师群体对学校教育目标和工作任务的认同,而且有助于教师产生归属感和荣誉感,最大限度地调动教师工作的积极性。它的重要性具体表现在如下几方面:
