We find that most of the words used by people in linguistic communication are well-defined and precise in terms of their denotations and connotations. In some special cases, words that are indefinite in extension and indefinite in meaning are meaningless and abstract In fact, “objects encountered in the real material world often do not have precisely defined boundaries.” There are many vague things in the objective world that are reflected in the human mind, Correspondingly, the concept of vagueness, the vagueness of thinking, and the ambiguity of the language as the carrier of human thinking information are of course rooted. It should be said that “fuzziness is both a natural attribute of thinking and a natural attribute of language.” This explains why the proper use of precise language or vague language can achieve the purpose of communication.
