  Teaching procedures教学过程:
  Step 1. Warm up

  S: Did you ride your bike?
  T: Yes, you are so clever. I like riding very much, because I think it’s very healthy. It’s a very “green” exercise. (PPT展示骑自行车的图片,接着呈现雾霾图片)
  T: Why should we ride bikes?
  S: Because of the PM2.5
  Step 2 .Presentation
  T: What is the PM 2.5? In Chinese is 雾霾. Now the PM2.5 is so heavy. Let’s watch some pictures carefully and tell me what things you can see in the pictures. (Show some pictures)
  S: I can see some animals, they’re in danger.
  S2: I can see the sky is dark.
  S3: I can see some water, they’re dirty.
  S4: I can see the trees; they are cut down by people.
  S5: The earth is in danger. Animals are in danger.

  T: So today we’re going to learn” Protect the earth”.

  T: Now we know water is useful, what about energy? Please read and choose.
  T: Now let’s find out why we should save energy and how to save it.
  让学生朗读第二部分并画出原因(Why do we save energy?)及方法(How do we save energy?),让学生回答。
  S: Because there is not much coal and oil on earth.
  S: We should not drive so much because cars use a lot of energy.
