新世纪的高等英语教育应把重点放在培养学生的自主学习能力和创新能力上,树立以学生为中心、教师为主导的科学教育理念。建构主义教学理论为实现这一目标提供了可行性策略。本文在分析建构主义教学理论的基础上,结合自己的新视野英语教学经验,探索了建构主义与公共英语教学的结合,旨在更加有效地提高英语教学质量。
Higher English education in the new century should lay emphasis on cultivating students’ autonomous learning ability and innovation ability, setting up a student-centered and teacher-led concept of science education. Constructivism teaching theory provides a feasible strategy for achieving this goal. Based on the analysis of constructivism teaching theory, this article explores the combination of constructivism and public English teaching in order to improve the quality of English teaching more effectively, combining with my own new horizon of English teaching experience.
