我国人民在党和毛主席的英明领导下,在社会主义革命、社会主义建设各个战线上都取得了伟大的胜利;京剧艺术也随着祖国建设面貌的日新月异而获得新生。正象周总理在第三届全国人民代表大会第一次会议所作的政府工作报告中指出的:“去年举行的京剧现代戏观摩演出,取得了初步的、意义重大的成就,对文化艺术的各个部门发生了影响,对文化革命起了推动作用。”我参加了第三届全国人民代表大会第一次会议,听了周总理的报告,心情非常兴奋,进一步增强了我演好现代戏的信心和决心。
