红外辐射计式(IR)、微波多普勒雷达和激光多普勒雷达(Lidar)是美国正在研制的三种机载前视式风切变探测、告警系统。红外系统(IR)发展现状湍流预报系统公司(TPS)和科罗拉多州立大学(CSU)是美国研制红外风切变探测、告警系统的两个主要单位。 TPS的红外系统 TPS是较早进行机载前视式红外风切变探测、告警系统研制的部门。目前研制出的第三代系统AWASⅢ,已被NASA采用,并装机试飞评估。它的第一代系统AWASⅠ通过测量距离飞机前方案件100米和6公里处的大气温度梯度,并通过一个由温度表示的风切变危险性因子确定飞机前方风切变的危险性。通过试飞得到如下结论: a.在6072~2158米高度范围内,AWASⅠ的前视距离为9.6公里(根据飞机飞行速度折算,前视时间约为54秒)。
Infrared Radiometer (IR), Microwave Doppler Radar and Laser Doppler Radar (Lidar) are three forward-looking wind shear detection and warning systems under development in the United States. Infrared System (IR) Developments TPS and CSU are the two major units in the United States for the development of infrared wind shear detection and warning systems. TPS infrared system TPS is the earlier airborne front-view infrared wind shear detection, alarm system development department. Currently developed third-generation system AWAS Ⅲ, NASA has been used, and installed flight test. Its first generation system, AWASI, determined the risk of wind shear in front of the aircraft by measuring the temperature gradient of the atmosphere 100 and 6 km from the front of the aircraft and through a temperature-dependent wind shear risk factor. The following conclusions were obtained by flight test: a. At a height of 6072 to 2158 meters, the AWASI forward looking distance is 9.6 kilometers (converted from the flight speed of the aircraft, the forward looking time is about 54 seconds).
