雕塑应该是有尊严的。放弃了城市雕塑的尊严还谈什么城市的气质和形象!日前笔者去陕北榆林市的画像石博物馆,出租车司机随口问,“哪儿?是‘牛粪插个鸡毛’的雕塑前的汉画馆么?知道知道,榆林人都知道。”待笔者见到雕塑时便彻底理解了司机的话,原来城市雕塑可以成为反面标志。而这恰恰就是群众对城市雕塑的态度,这也说明目前城市雕塑缺乏艺术形式的问题,尤其西北地区的城市雕塑质量极为不高的现状。首先,城市雕塑是造型艺术,无论怎么发展,也要依赖形体对空间的分割和占有来实现,而这种分割和占有的形式就是雕塑的构成形式。我们在评价或讨论城雕时不应忽略其艺术属性,城市雕塑需要与它所在的空间环境、氛围相吻合、统一。在评价一个雕塑的时候不能过于复杂地去评价它的非主观因素,应该把事情看得简单点,回到艺术发展的原
