既有的环境心理学研究证明,社交关系是地方认同(place identity)的重要预测指标之一。异地求学的大学生在新城市建立的地方认同不仅关系到他们求学期间的心理归属,更会影响到他们毕业后的工作选择。微信(WeChat)形成的社交关系与大学生的地方认同感存在密切联系。本文选取了在北京求学的200名非京籍大学生,调查研究发现:大学生对朋友圈使用强度与对北京的地方认同呈正相关(r=0.17,在0.05水平上相关);关系资本提升是朋友圈使用强度和地方认同的完全中介变量,即大学生对朋友圈的使用可以帮助其积累关系资本,从而提升对北京的地方认同。该研究结论揭示了大学生的社交媒体使用是他们在新的城市进行再度社会化的工具,对于理解青年人的社会化及其地方融入具有积极意义。
Existing environmental psychology studies have shown that social relationships are one of the most important predictors of place identity. The local identity established by students from different places in the new city not only concerns the psychological affiliation of their students during their studies, but also affects their choices after graduation. The social relationship formed by WeChat is closely related to the university student’s local identity. This study selected 200 non-Beijing university students studying in Beijing. The survey found that the strength of university students’ use of their circle of friends was positively correlated with the local identity of Beijing (r = 0.17, at the level of 0.05); the relationship capital was promoted as a circle of friends The use of full intermediary variables of intensity and local identity, that is, college students’ use of circle of friends, can help them accumulate relational capital and thereby enhance local recognition of Beijing. The study concluded that college students’ social media use is a tool for their re-socialization in new cities and is positive for understanding the socialization of young people and their local integration.
