萨扎干遗址位于乌兹别克斯坦共和国撒马尔罕市西南部的西天山北麓山前地带,是一处规模较大、延续时间较长、内涵丰富的古代聚落遗址。2015年,西北大学丝绸之路文化遗产与考古学研究中心和乌兹别克斯坦共和国科学院考古研究所组成的联合考古队对该遗址的中小型墓葬和居住遗迹进行了发掘,确认了当地公元前2世纪至公元前后游牧人群的埋葬习俗和居住方式,并出土了一批陶器、铜器、铁器、石器、骨器等珍贵文物。为西天山地区早期游牧文化研究提供了新材料。
Located in the foreside of the northern foot of the western Tianshan Mountains in the southwestern part of the Samarkand of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the site of the Sazan Dry Site is an ancient settlement site with a large scale, a long duration and abundant connotation. In 2015, a joint archaeological team consisting of the Silk Road Cultural Heritage and Archeology Research Center of Northwestern University and the Institute of Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan excavated the small and medium-sized tombs and residential monuments of the site, confirming that the local 2nd- Bury customs and living patterns of nomadic herds after the BCE, and unearthed a number of precious relics such as pottery, bronze ware, iron ware, stone ware and bone ware. It provided new material for the study of early nomadic culture in the Western Tianshan Mountains.
