在棉花栽培中,采用传统的整枝技术,费工太多。我们从1979年开始,进行了不整枝试验。试验分为高水肥、中水肥、低水肥和旱地组。种植品种为中棉所7号。每亩留苗从2,500株开始,依次增加500株,直到6,000株,共6个密度。不整枝处理,只进行晚打顶(7月下旬);对照为常规的五打整枝。田间管理措施一致。每个试验点小区面积10×12尺~2,6行区,顺序排列,重复三次。现将三年来试验情况介绍于下。1979年11个试验点,共51个处理,其中不整枝增产的31个,占处理总数的60.78%,增产幅度为2.6—8.7;平产的5个;减产的15个,占29.4%,减产幅度2.2—9.5%。
