1.引言淬火钢的铣削,实际上还存在问题,因为在断续切削加工中,刀具和刀片材料的机械应力和热应力比车削加工相同的工件材料要大。用硬质合金刀具端面铣削淬火钢的切削试验表明,正确选择刀具材料可获得较高的刀具耐用度或采用较高的切削速度。在断续切削中,为承受交变应力,刀具材料除应具有足够的耐磨性和耐热性外,还必须具有较好的韧性。因此,近年来出现了涂层硬质合金,它是在一种韧性的基体材料上涂有坚硬的耐磨层。
1. INTRODUCTION Milling of hardened steels is in fact problematic because the mechanical and thermal stresses of the tool and insert material are greater than those of the same workpiece material in turning and cutting operations. Cutting experiments with hardened cemented carbide face milling of hardened steels show that the correct choice of tool material results in higher tool durability or higher cutting speeds. In intermittent cutting, in order to withstand alternating stress, in addition to cutting tool material should have sufficient wear resistance and heat resistance, but also must have good toughness. Therefore, in recent years, there has been a coated cemented carbide which is coated with a hard wear-resistant layer on a tough base material.
