2002年5月-6月,东北师范大学东北民族与疆域研究中心主任、中国边疆地区历史与社会研究东北工作站常务副站长、博士生导师刘厚生教授两次莅临哈尔滨市,就“中国长白山文化”课题与有关专家学者进行了探讨。该课题为中国东北边疆历史与现状系列研究工程之首批重点课题。参加讨论的学者有黑龙江省社会科学院的张碧波研究员、孟广耀研究员、喻权中研究员,黑龙江大学满族语言文化研究中心主任赵阿平教授、郭孟秀副教授,省民族研究所的陈伯霖副研究员、那晓波副研究员,原《北方文物》
