The composition of the pigment protein complex of spinach chloroplast thylakoid membranes and different PS Ⅱ preparations was analyzed by the mild electrophoresis method with mixed detergents under low ionic strength. Some pigment protein complexes were identified by SDS polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and absorption spectroscopy. This method is simple, rapid, less pigment free.
